Mad Tatter Studios was established in 2012 by  Martin Shaw and Casey Treat. Both Martin and Casey have been successful in the Tattoo industry due to their common desire to exceed expetations.

Mad Tatter Studios not satisfied with the way most shops were being run, i.e. with an emphasis on tattooing uninformed customers and taking their money{unfortunately not an uncommon practice in a tourist town}, as opposed to educating them and making them aware of bad decisions..Mad Tatter Studios has the lowest studio minimum in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. All Tattoos start at $30.
Mad Tatter Studios does above and below the belt piercings as well. We Pride ourselves on using such jewelry as "Metal Mafia" to perform our piercings versus using lower quality {cheap} jewelry such as others, and we charge the same or less.....Hmmm putting the customer first...What a concept....Why would you want to go anywhere else? At the End of the day we look forward to assisting you with all of your body art needs, unlike others we stand behind our work and our reputation means more to us than a dollar.

Casey "Treat Daddy" Treat Bio

Casey Treat, Co Owner of Mad Tatter Studios grew up in East Tennessee and spent his teenage years as a juggler and fire eater on stage in local theaters. When he turned 18 he decided to move to Charlotte, NC to pursue a career in NASCAR. Four months after being in Charlotte he got his chance and landed a job in the Engine Shop of Roush/Yates racing. After a year into his career at Roush/Yates he worked his way into a position to become a tire changer, 2 years later his team won the Nextel Cup Championship. Shortly after winning the Championship Casey found that he was lacking the drive to continue in the sport and that he wanted a new challenge. After a year of planning to open a Body Art Studio back home in Pigeon Forge he met two talented artist, Martin "Hollywood" Shaw and Jared and it was at that moment that he knew that his wolf pack would grow.

"You guys might not know this but I consider myself a bit of a loner. I tend to think of myself as a one man wolf pack. But when I met Martin and Jared, I knew they were one of my own. And my wolf pack, it grew by two. So there... there were three of us in the wolf pack. I was alone first in the pack and Martin and Jared joined in later. And six months ago, when I met you guys I thought "wait a second, could it be?" And now I know for sure, I just added two more guys to my wolf pack. Three of us wolves"

Martin "Hollywood" Shaw Bio

Martin Shaw is a 30 something year old man with a vast education in art. A true believer In Christ yet not a saint, he always knows that a higher power is in control of all things he does. He has been tattooing for 17 years in Florida, Texas and Tennessee. Martin is inspired by photo realism and neo traditional tattoos. Martin takes pride in taking a bad tattoo and making it new again and or successfully cover it forever. He believes a tattoo is for life and so it should be done right the first time, no exceptions and no excuses period.

Martin started tattooing at Body Styles in Tarpon Springs Florida, He spent the first 8 years of his career there before he moved on and started a solo career tattooing for Extreme Illusions in Gainesville Florida and Studio 27 in Newport Richey Florida all the while sharpening his skills as a color bomb and gray scale artist. During his career in Florida he lost his mother and decided that he needed a change in scenery so he moved back home to Texas and went to work at the World Famous Texas Body Art . Texas Body Art is wear Martin met some of the best artist in the world. Being surrounded by such true and raw talent, Martin worked so hard just to stand in their shadows, but after adapting to different styles and venues of the art, Martin knew that he had found his calling. Now in full swing of perusing his dream at Mad Tatter Studios with the best brothers and coworkers anyone could ask for. If you want the job done right the first time? A special thanks to my family. My family is the most important thing in my life my wife of 17 years has put up with me and my shenanigans for so long and always had my back, my 15 year old daughter Marisa is so supportive as is my 10 year old daughter Elayna they are the reason I work so hard to do my best., and I cannot leave my boys out Trevor 5 years and Robert 3 months.
